Park District's 10th Annual Environmental Conference
The Stark County Park District is hosting its 10th Annual Environmental Conference on Nov. 14 at the RG Drage Career Center at 6805 Richville Dr. SW in Massillon, Ohio. The day-long conference will feature speakers with experience in sustainability from individual and grass root efforts to community and government movements.
The keynote speaker is Dr. Mark Tumeo, a Cleveland State University professor. Tumeo has served on local, state, national and international panels in the area of environmental management and law. He previously worked in the Clinton Administration and now serves as an academic appointee on the State of Ohio’s Technical Advisory Committee.
