Recycle for Humanity Thanksgiving Appliance Donation Drive
Recycle For Humanity, an environmental services company dedicated to helping the community, is having a Thanksgiving Appliance Donation Drive to benefit the homeless in Cuyahoga County and surrounding areas. Recycle For Humanity will be accepting donations of working and nonworking household appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, computers, stoves, etc. Donated appliances in good condition are refurbished to provide quality, affordable home essentials for people transitioning from homelessness to self sufficiency and for low- to moderate-income families. Unrepairable appliances are processed by Ohio Environmental Protection Agency-certified technicians to be recycled. Proceeds help to fund continued operation and assist nonprofit partners. Our Recycle and Reuse to Reduce Program minimizes burdens on landfills and negative environmental impact.
Based in Cleveland, Recycle For Humanity has been providing a diverse suite of environmental services since 2003. This Thanksgiving, Recycle For Humanity will work in strategic partnerships with area retailers and other nonprofits like Transitional Resource Services and Murtis Taylor to turn your appliance donation into food, clothing and other assistance for the homeless in the region.

From Oct. 5 to Nov. 19, you can drop off your appliance donation at the Drop Off Center at 1192 E. 40th St., Cleveland, OH 44114, Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Or take advantage of our convenient pick-up service, available for households and businesses.
