Captains Go Green Weekend April 23-25
The Lake County Captains, the Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, announced that it will host Go Green Weekend on April 23-25. The weekend will highlight what the Captains have done to make Classic Park more environmentally friendly as well as educating fans on how to make more environmentally friendly decisions in their own life. The Captains will give away reusable tote bags, courtesy of Lake County Solid Waste District, to the first 1,000 fans through the gates each night duing Go Green Weekend.
All three games have a 6:30 p.m. starting time. Prior to the Saturday game, there will be a Health and Sustainability Fair at 5:30 p.m. The fair will highlight different environmental organizations in Northeast Ohio. Participants can display information and showcase their efforts on decreasing impacts on the environment.
