Learn Green / Live Green Expo
Learn Green / Live Green is holding its first annual Summit County teaching and sales event on April 18 at the John S. Knight center in Akron, to introduce and educate the community about the benefits of living a more eco-friendly lifestyle. The event is held in support of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
Do you realize that every purchase you make affects our environment? Do you realize that just by buying a toxic free cleaner you are helping a pulmonary patient breathe easier, and keeping healthy people from developing a pulmonary illness? It is just that easy.
The event goal is to educate and encourage organic, all natural and eco-friendly living. The mission is to give people the knowledge they need to make their next action a more sustainable one.
Event Schedule: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.: 75 diversified organic, all-natural, and eco-friendly exhibitors, and family education, entertainment and activities; 7 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.: Black Tie Gala, organic and all-natural gourmet foods, entertainment with the Wanda Hunt Band as headliner and silent and live auction.
