Fair Green Trade Website is Hub for Sustainable and Natural Products

Fair Green TradeWith the goal of providing a master list of all things Earth-friendly, the Beachwood, Ohio-based Fair Green Trade website could soon find its way into the browser bookmarks of many web-savvy and environmentally-conscious consumers and businesses. Like the popular Yahoo web directory, Fair Green Trade lists a variety of different resources and websites. Something like an online yellow pages, Fair Green Trade lets users discover retail outlets, restaurants, clothes, nonprofits and a whole lot more. But, there’s one extra thing that the Fair Green Trade web directory requires that Yahoo doesn’t—that every listing is sustainable, organic or Earth-friendly.

“The companies we list are all about sustainability, health, and awareness of the environment—there are no exceptions,” says Jeff Weisberg, Fair Green Trade’s founder. Weisberg hopes his new venture will become a hub for Earth-conscious consumers and businesses. He is also planning on implementing a system that lets users network with each other, share information about products and businesses, and socialize.

Fair Green Trade is designed to make finding green products or services easy. Categories have been set up in the already-extensive Fair Green Trade directory and a vast amount of information is available to let people learn about new products, events and initiatives. Since users can depend on Fair Green Trade to acknowledge companies that advocate green ideals and sustainability, it’s easy to find the green products you are looking for.

Weisberg, who has been working in the organic food business since 1995, encourages local green, natural and organic companies, and organizations to sign up with Fair Green Trade. While companies can opt for a paid featured listing, basic listings on the online directory are free. Weisberg is planning an aggressive marketing campaign that will draw consumers, businesses and other relevant associations to the new site. According to Weisberg, getting a listing at Fair Green Trade is an extremely easy way to reach those Earth-friendly consumers.
