Cleveland Bicycle Week May 12-16
Cleveland Bicycle Week is May 12-16. Join many local groups and help promote cycling during National Bike Month by participating in fun and educational activities. Some of the activities being planned include:
• Sat., May 10: Bike to RiverSweep, starting at Nautica Stage at 1 p.m.
• Sat., May 10: Every Saturday Social Ride, Ohio City Bicycle Co-op at 10 a.m.
• Mon., May 12: Bike to Work to YMCA downtown from 8 - 9:30 a.m.
• Mon., May 12: Bike to the Movies, Natural History Museum, 6 - 8:30 p.m.
• Mon., May 12: Bike to the Movies, C-Space, 6 - 8:30 p.m.
• Tues., May 13: Bike to Work to YMCA downtown from 8 - 9:30 a.m.
• Tues., May 13: Mountain Biking at The Cleveland Metroparks’ first mountain bike trail at the Canalway Reservation from 6 - 8:30 p.m.
• Tues., May 13: Discover the Towpath starting at Cleveland Metroparks Canalway Center from 6 - 8:30 p.m.
• Wed., May 14: Bike to Work to YMCA downtown from 8 - 9:30 a.m.
• Wed., May 14: Discover Trails in The City - Slavic Village CDC from 6 - 8:30 p.m.
• Thurs., May 15: Bike to Work to Cleveland Public Library from 8 - 9:30 a.m.
• Thurs., May 15: Cleveland Bicycle Conference. A one-day conference for government officials, health and wellness agencies, the media and any other interested parties from
9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Thurs., May 15: Cleveland Bicycle Expo (City Hall or Convention Center) from
11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• Fri., May 16: Bike to Work to Cleveland City Hall & YMCA at 8 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
• Fri., May 16: Cleveland Bicycle Expo (City Hall or Convention Ctr): Celebration of Cycling at Cleveland City Hall. The Executive Director of the League of American Bicyclists will be in town to announce the results of Cleveland’s application for a Bicycle Friendly Community award from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
